Values Ambassador Spotlight: Robert Reynolds
Nominated by: Stephanie Taylor
Value: Service
Robert Reynolds has worked at Heartspring for more than 20 years. His passion, work ethic, and willingness to help inspired Stephanie Taylor to nominate him.
Robert’s a paraprofessional within our school, but he doesn’t let his job description stop him from taking on responsibilities and helping other members of the Heartspring team. Robert’s commitment to our students means he goes the extra mile to care for their needs with patience and compassion.
Stephanie Taylor, Home Supervisor, says, “Robert gives 100% to every job he’s ever given. If we ask him, he’s ready to jump in and help us. I’ve been working with Robert for nearly 17 years, and he really embodies the spirit and value of teamwork.”
Outside of Heartspring, Robert also coaches the Wichita East High School track team. He says, “You have to have passion for what you do. You have to be a team player, follow the rules, and have integrity."
His supervisor, Darrell Daugherty, says, “He’s flexible to assist and helps not only maintain the expectation of quality instruction but is an active part of developing programs.” Whether hopping in for Monday lunch bunch, repairing bicycles, going into classrooms, or helping gym classes run smoothly, he provides exemplary service.
Stephanie also says, “These values are a part of Robert as a person. He loves kids. He loves coaching. He sets the example that if we work together as a team, things get done correctly and safely. I wish we could have 100 more Roberts.”
Thank you for your dedication to Heartspring and our students, Robert. Your passion makes all the difference.
