Meet Nikki Bina
In her new role!
In March of 2023, Nichole “Nikki” Bina assumed a new role as the clinical director of interdisciplinary therapy. As the leader of the therapy team, she feels it is important that she be an advocate for the therapists and clients of Heartspring alike.
“I want to create and foster an environment where therapists can thrive," Nikki said. “This will help allow them to provide the best services possible to the clients and their families.”
The best part about being at Heartspring for Nikki is the people and the reward of providing support and access of therapeutic services to the clients and their families.
"The talent and the skillset that we have within Heartspring Outpatient Services can meet any families’ need at any point in their child’s development"
While Nikki is originally from Kansas, her career took her to the east coast. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a degree in elementary education, Nikki moved to New York City where she was a kindergarten teacher.
After teaching for about two years, Nikki pivoted and got her master of science in speech-language pathology. She took her experience working with children in education with the knowledge she obtained from her degree and built a career as a speech-language pathologist from there working in schools, early intervention, and private practice in New York until eventually deciding to come back home to Kansas.
She joined the Heartspring team as a speech-language pathologist and eventually worked as the interdisciplinary team lead before taking on her newest role as the clinical director of interdisciplinary therapy.
